![]() I never bothered trying to do it any other way. (Personally, my households usually only go over 8 through 'Try for Baby'/babies being born. The downside is that once you do this, you might have to jump through some hoops if you want to move any of those Sims back into the original household if it would make the original household larger than 8. ![]() When you want to find a mod for the issue. ![]() This can happen when you go to CAS or when you go to manage worlds. As soon as you use a mod to extend the number of Sims in your household the gam might cull members randomly. ![]() I put the Sims I wanted to send to university in a household temporarily (you can use freerealestateon if you don't plan on having them there long term and don't want to spend simoleons on this temporary fix), then use the computer to send them to university (this is assuming you want to move them into a dorm - I don't remember, but I think I couldn't get it to let me move them into a dorm from the manage worlds screen, I think I had to use the computer once they were already living in a private dwelling). GemzyX As you might know a 'normal' maximum number in a household is eight Sims. What I ended up having to do in my 10-person household was go to household manager, split the family into two (I did 7 and 3, but 8 and 2 should work as well - just have to make it so that the households are 8 or under), and then you can send them to university. Is anyone else having this problem? I expected some glitching with MCCC and changing the Max household size, but I’ve figured I could add up to 104 sims as the mccc Max size says.I had this problem too - I assume it's because the base game only allows 8 Sims per household, and you need mods to increase that number (I use MCCC). It also switches off and says “no one lives here” even though I do have sims living on the lot. Also, when I take my sim to visit their house, it will allow me to knock first (and not a second time, meaning clicking on the door does nothing) and it when knocking, it will say no one is home, although they are. I can invite them to the lot, and they say they will be right over but never show up. I changed the settings in mcc to make my household limit 20, and when I created a new household to test it, the limit. Click on a sim - sim commands - maintain sim - edit in CAS. I can travel with other sims, but when we arrive at the location, the friend sim I chose to travel with is not there. If your problem with MCC is that sims disappear when you enter CAS, you need to edit each sim in CAS separately. I leave most of these as default, but their titles and descriptions are pretty informative if you're looking to try out other things I caution adjusting Maximum Household Size as it can cause problems in CAS and hurt performance depending on your computer build. ![]() I can’t knock on other sims doors, the knock option doesn’t show up. MCCC Settings > Gameplay Settings: This section covers a lot of different things. I’m not able to have over a caterer or a maid (they take the money and don’t show up). However the game seems like it’s trying to stop me from visiting or seeing other sims. I want to fill up the household with sims and everything was working okay with hitting shift / click to add them to the household. My game has been a bit slow of course (only have about 20 sims in the household) but it’s been working normally. So I normally play with MCCC, and currently have the maximum household size at 62. ![]()
